Doug Cooney
founded DEERFIELD
ASSOCIATES
Executive Search, Inc. in 2001. Doug leads the company practice and
serves as Executive Search Consultant to top tier educational institutions. For
20 years prior to founding the firm, Doug served as Executive Recruiter and Vice
President of Shawmut Bank, Connecticut National Bank and as Director of
Executive Search for FleetBoston Financial. Earlier in his career Doug served as
both an Admission Officer for Vassar College
and as Director of Alumni Relations for the University of Massachusetts,
Amherst. A native of Northampton, Massachusetts, Doug is a graduate of the
University of Massachusetts Amherst where he
earned a Bachelor of Arts degree and a Master of Arts degree, both in Sociology.
Since 1982, he has been involved exclusively in the profession of recruitment,
talent selection and executive search.

Ashley Mohrman
serves as an Executive Recruiter for
DEERFIELD ASSOCIATES. Ashley
has been with the firm since its inception, and is a native
of Alabama. She started her 25 year career with a Boston staffing firm,
continuing at Shawmut Bank specializing in recruitment for senior management.
Ashley also launched her own consulting practice which provided recruitment and
staffing for prestigious legal and financial service organizations. Ashley
began her undergraduate education at the University
of Alabama, and then the University of
Massachusetts Amherst
where she earned her degree in Bachelor of Business
Administration.

Susan Daniels
serves as an Executive Recruiter for
DEERFIELD ASSOCIATES since joining in
2006. Susan worked with the professional summer theatre on campus of Mount
Holyoke College for 22 seasons. As Artistic Director for the theatre for five
years, Susan recruited, hired and managed the 72 member professional company.
Susan is a graduate of Mount Holyoke College
in South Hadley, Massachusetts with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theatre Arts.

Joan Grzybowski, serves as
Director of Research & Market Intelligence for DEERFIELD
ASSOCIATES.
Joan has been with the firm since its inception,
and is originally from South Deerfield, Massachusetts. Joan worked for the
University of Massachusetts in Human Resources and Labor Relations. In prior
roles, Joan served as Compensation Director for the Bank of New England,
Executive Compensation Consultant with The Bank of Boston, Compensation Director
for Lechmere Corporation and Compensation Consultant for Digital Equipment
Corporation. Joan is a graduate of the University of
Massachusetts Amherst earning a degree in Bachelor of Business Administration.

Julie Miller
serves as an Executive Recruiter for
DEERFIELD ASSOCIATES
since joining in
2003. Prior to joining the firm, Julie was a Product Director in career
resources for senior executives at Monster.com. Previously, Julie had been
Director of MBA Career Services at Boston College, and Assistant Director for
MBA Career Services at Babson College. Julie began her career in technical sales
with IBM. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and Computer
Science from Trinity College in Hartford,
Connecticut, and a Master of Arts degree in Higher Education Administration from
Boston College.
